| Custom Work: We are happy to work with all our clients on custom sizing, matting and framing of any of our prints. We offer wholesale and bulk pricing to commercial customers. Frequently Asked Questions: Are our photographs digitally manipulated? Cameras, whether digital or film, perceive things differently than the human eye. In the interest of creating images that match our human experience, we do make subtle changes when needed. We never create composite images; we do balance color, light, and shadow to best represent the beauty we saw at the time the photograph was taken. How long will a print last? The longevity of any print is dependent on the media and inks used to create it. We use acid free paper and Epson's archival pigment inks to resist fading and color shifting as much as possible. With proper care, such prints are expected to last over 100 years. How should I care for my print? An archival print should be cared for in a manner similar to regular film prints. Your print will last longer out of direct sunlight. Framing it behind glass also helps greatly reduce fading and color shifts due to prolonged exposure to light. Protect your print from extreme temperatures and humidity, which will also cause it to age faster. Never allow water to come into direct contact with the print. Privacy High Desert Images maintains all customer information in-house. We do not share any personal information, order history, or billing information with outside companies or entities except as required by law or by contract with our credit card processor. Shipping DOMESTIC/CANADA Shipping applies to US delivery addresses, in the 50 states only, including Alaska and Hawaii. Geographic shipping restrictions may apply to particular products. Some special products, orders, or handling fees may still apply for orders outside the US. OVERSEAS We are happy to ship any order overseas. Please send us an e-mail regarding your request to info@highdesertimages.com and we will respond to you within 24 hours. SHIPPING PHOTOGRAPHIC PRINTS In-stock products and prints ship in 48-72 hours. Out-of-stock/framed prints ship betweent two to four weeks, unless Jeff and Emily are out on a photo trip. DOMESTIC Prints are sent mounted and flat if un framed or in a specially created shipping box or crate if framed. OVERSEAS Prints are sent flat only and are dependent on shipping and customs charges. We cannot ship framed pieces. SHIPPING SCHEDULE We ship prints Monday through Thursday only, unless otherwise arranged. We do not ship on Fridays in order to avoid having the artwork sit in cold damp warehouses over the weekend. All framed prints are shipped via UPS Second Day Air. DAMAGE If your package arrives damaged please call us immediately 1-505-466-3162. If you suspect damage to the items inside, make a claim with the shipper, and call us as well, we will then determine the necessary action for replacement. We will ship unframed prints anywhere on the globe. Delivery of framed prints is limited to the continuous 48 states of North America. Shipping is via the best carrier available. RETURNS If for any reason the products you have ordered are not right, or need to be replaced, please contact us with your name, the order ID number from the packing list, and a phone number where you can be reached during the day. We will then look into the matter and arrange with you regarding shipping details. |
